A visit to Bavaria would not be complete without seeing the enchanting castles of King Ludwig II.  I visited three of his castles; Hohenschwangau, Neuschwanstein and Linderhof.  These palatial estates tucked away within the cloud-capped Alps made me recall the fairy tales of my childhood, complete with princesses and knights in shining armor. Away for the Holidays…Christmas Markets of Europe

One evening, a few weeks ago, I settled down in my comfy recliner with the idea of watching some good quality television.  I suppose I forgot that we are smack dab in the middle of summer and all my favorite shows are on hiatus, gearing up for the new fall season.  After surfing through what seemed like a hundred channels and realizing my choices came down to watching Andrew Zimmer ambitiously eat some unrecognizable animal body parts or an episode from the Andy of Mayberry marathon, I stumbled on a national home shopping network celebrating “Christmas In July.”  View full article
